Alright, a quick peek at my fish tank this morning shows me that the tank water’s pH has dropped to 6.957. I did take a peek at the tank last night just to satisfy my curiosity and the pH was at… 6.957. We can make the tank a little more acidic, which will be great for our tetras, so let’s just add the remaining 130 ml of the pH down. I’ll add another bottle to use for future water changes.
Let’s also make the water a little bit softer by adding Water Conditioner. The instructions call for 5-10ml per 10 liters of water. As with the Chlorine Cut, let’s add 30 ml to the tank, and then we’ll check on it again tomorrow. Assuming the water conditions are doing well, we can start to add our fish.
What fish do you think we should start with? The catfish or the tetras? Let me know in the comments.
Thanks for reading!
