I exported all of the babies to move them into a new world and I’m finally back to take a look at their genes. This laptop is struggling to run the games but I can at least try to figure out who to play with next. From here out, I’m omitting pigment bleeds and changes. To make things simple, I’ve added an X to the name of every norn that isn’t eligible to be in the next round.<\/p>\n

***** INSTINCTS **** This is the instinct that tells Norns to seek out Powerups when they’re bored. In the genetics kit, there’s no visible difference. Sadly, my favorite reference site has gone offline and I can’t seem to (quickly) find the information online. As this is the only gene difference, Berald gets the green light. I don’t have Powerups in the game anyway so it’s not like this instinct matters as it is.<\/p>\n Male<\/p>\n ***** REACTIONS **** This mutation could prevent pregnancy in his female offspring. Normally, Oestrogen is consumed by Progesterone but here, because it doesn’t require any Progesterone for the reaction to happen, Oestrogen should be converted to Progesterone, even when the lady norn is not pregnant. In normal norns, Coldness backup would be converted to coldness. Because Battista’s gene has been deleted, he will never feel cold as long as any coldness is converted to backup.<\/p>\n Female<\/p>\n ***** REACTIONS **** Just like Balder above, Burijiito has a gene that prevents her from getting pregnant. Progesterone is meant to prevent her from getting pregnant and it is also supposed to help female norns lay eggs.
