I just like them! I think they’re super cute! They were one of my specialty breedz when the old PKC site was still around. I find them a real pleasure to show.

A Little about the breed

I like the USA-type in particular because they’re so cute and pretty in the face. This variety wasn’t bred for the extreme facial shapes you typically find in European varieties and were bred instead for the a full and consistent brown coat.

My goals for my catz
I’d like to start a champion line of purebred Havana Browns again! Ideally I’d like to keep my line free of inbreeding and I suppose that starts with the two kittens I’m using for this challenge.

Other
I’ve already picked out two kittens from breeders and they get along just fine!* I’ll be picking them up on March the first when they’re finally old enough to come home with me.
