Using FeedReader for Creatures Blogs

Hey, how do you keep up with Creatures Blogs? Do you visit each blog individually or do you prefer to use RSS feeds? Since the service Amaikokonut was using was discontinued it’s been harder to find good, free RSS services to read blogs through.

I was using Feedly to read blogs on my iPad but found that it didn’t show me articles older than 30 days. This was more than a little inconvenient since I returned after a year long hiatus. Naturally, I had to find an alternative.

Now, I’m using FeedReader. It sadly doesn’t have an app but it does have an online RSS reader that is tablet friendly (not mobile friendly, sadly) and for those of you who are desktop bound like me, it also has an optional program you can use to read articles. I’m not well versed in RSS readers so I can’t speak about what sorts of features it has that are better or worse than in other services, but since it’s free, I figure it’s still worth a try.

For those of you who are interested in trying this out, here’s a file you can import into FeedReader to get all of the Creatures Blogs updates. I’ve taken the list from all of the working blogs that support RSS from Amai’s list.

Happy reading!
