I’m sorry I’ve been away all weekend but as I stated in my last post, my husband just got home and we needed to spend time together. :3

Speaking of spending time together (sweet transition, right?) Val and Tanner are separated and I want more eggs. 2 seems like plenty for what I’m trying to do, but at the same time, I’d like to make sure I get two healthy babies out of this. As it is, I can’t even guarantee their sexes.

Valerie made her way into the kitchen and Tanner was back by the island, spending time with our grendel friend.

Valerie still had trouble sleeping and tossed and turned in the Garden. Tanner on the other hand seemed to be isolating himself in the west cave of the island. I struggled with him, trying to get him to eat for a while but the grendel kept stealing his food to eat himself. Somewhere along the line (probably while I was using Encylopedia Nornica) the grendel learned handish and he obeyed the orders to eat food instead.

I woke Valerie up from her restless sleep and she soon passed out again. She managed to get some rest this time and soon she was up and eating strained carrots again. What a cheerful girl! Now if I could just get her to meet Tanner again.

I managed to get Valerie to the Swamp and… the game crashed.

Oh dear.

We start today’s adventure with a trip through the albian ocean. It seems that once Tanner was satisfied helping Valerie finish her quest, he wanted to go right back to hanging out with his Grendel friend in the underground of the island.

Valerie, on the other hand, was content to play and eat below the temple. She must need some rest after her long journey! I convinced her to go up to the surface to eat carrots and she did. There, she found an Albian Carrot Beetle to harrass. The poor thing screamed and kicked but it wasn’t long til it was able to get away.

Valerie seemed to eat everything in sight now and her health was at an impressive 84%. It wasn’t due to eating carrots, but all the honey she ate by the bees had her health rise up to an impressive 92% and it’s been steadily declining since.

She eventually made her way back to the house and seemed to enjoy the heat coming from the stove. While she enjoyed the warmth, I checked on Tanner to find that he was still hanging out with his Grendel buddy.

I coaxed him back into the garden though he did everything he could to make it difficult for me. He did eventually run into Valerie and she was pregnant again! They made their way to the temple, then to the swamp and had a nap.

Valerie couldn’t seem to keep still in her sleep, however. I worried that she wasn’t getting a restful sleep. She took micro-naps to compensate but I watched her health steadily decline. A few carrots later and a few naps later, she was feeling much better and her health was on the rise again.

Soon her egg was laid. I used the Egg Pauser to make it grow and placed it next to the other.

I goofed around in the world a bit, adding plants and critters to the world and watched as the two kissed and walked around the temple.

They were each 4 hours old now and I wanted a third egg. As they made their way to the island, I decided to try again tomorrow.

I wanted to start another wolfling run after my Toxic population failed but as I mulled over what breed I wanted to try, an idea popped into my head.

I wanted to sample all of the breeds I’ve downloaded but, naturally, I tend to stick to my favorite breeds.

The challenge goes like this. I’m going to open up advanced muco and play with one of each norn breed. Instead of spending time with one breed and one creature at a time, I’m going to adopt, for example, an Apple Norn and an Aqua Grendel and get them to breed. (With the help of Creature Crossbreeding, of course.)

Once they’ve bred and produced a baby, I’ll breed that baby with the next creature in Muco’s list, in my case, an Astro norn. The challenge here is to try to reach the last breed available in muco without having the population die out.

That’s the process! The rules are simple. CFE only.

If you’d like to attempt this challenge, you’re more than welcome to and change any rules or conditions that you like.

Valerie and Tanner started to make their way around the world, Tanner staying close to hoe and Valerie trying to circumnavigate the world.

It wasn’t long before there was another mishap, though. Tanner, who had just recovered from being sick as a baby, had come down with another illness.

This time, instead of Antigen 2, he was sick with Antigen 5. Thankfully, I was able to teach him to push the Strained Carrots machine to get food. Smart boy!

With the extra food in his system, he was on the road to recovery and in perfect health again.

Valerie was taught to use the Strained Carrots machine as well and it seemed like these two would be a little more survivable.

Soon, they were on the beach. Valerie reached adulthood before Tanner tough Tanner was two minutes older than her! No sooner than I posted their beach photo had they both become adults.

It wasn’t long til we all got to meet our grendel friend, either! We were only an hour and a half in but we’ve already made it so far.
