Persephone was nearly ready to be left on her own to grow up and learn. I decided that once she was 20 minutes old, it would be time to let her explore the Meso on her own and maybe teach the two boy norns with me.
She was feeling lonely and I couldn’t seem to pet her enough to make her feel less bad so I took her to the workshop to meet the puppet. She pushed it around a bit and soon it was time to go back.
She still seemed to do all of the things she was supposed to – resting when she’s tired or sleepy, eating her food instead of hitting it, pushing it or running from it. It was nice to have one on one time for once.
Our bonding time would be interrupted, though. Pilot, our first boy, was imported into the game.
His first lesson was to rest when he was tired and he picked up on it quickly. As they both rested, Persephone became an adolescent and actually seemed content not to spend all of her time with the toddler.
Soon, they both felt lonely and I advised them to meet. Pilot still hadn’t learned not to play with his food but they needed some time to meet. Once they had an eyefull, they walked off on their own and I taught Pilot some table manners. He at least knows to eat now though I’m not sure he’s made a connection between his drives and his food yet. Neither of them seemed particularly hungry so there wasn’t much I could do. Hoverdoc even came to tell me the same thing.
Oh well. Tomorrow we’ll hopefully be introducing our next male and we’ll be able to put Persephone in the water.
