In any case, I’ve checked these other two ladies and hopefully, having two lady fish in the tank will encourage Spartacus up there to breed.

I haven’t had much success with Time Warping so for now, things are running in real time. I’ve done some research into Discus breeding (as it applies to this game) and I haven’tfound any information on dominant/recessive genes, how the colors and patterns work or anything. So I’ve decided to do some science. When I have more time, we’ll see what happens when I play with the fish splicer.

I hate to break it to you guys but the lag I’m getting for Creatures is just getting unbearable for me. I’m supposed to be getting my computer soon but I’ve been told that since we turned it in to the repair shop in the first place. For now, I’m afraid I’m going to go on a Creatures hiatus.

I do have some good news, though! Aquazone still runs smoothly on my computer so I’ll be able to share this game with you. My guppy tank crashed on my and my Marble Angelfish tank crashed on me before I could even post about it so this time, I’m trying discus.

It was a long and tedious installation process but I finally managed to get two Discus from the “blue” file into the tank. They’re predominantly red in color but I’m going to name them after the file they came from anyway.

Make sure you click on the image to see it in full size. Here they are. I’m in love with the female’s pattern. I don’t have any particular goals in mind but I’m still pretty curious about what kind of babies these two fish can produce.

Since this game takes its time, I’ve opted to set the aquarium’s speed to 2x real time and turn on the auto-feeder.

I’ll be back in a few days to let you know how the tank is coming along. 😀

I like it, anyway and I hope you do, too!

Since today seemed like a day for change, I’ve decided to get fresh starts on everything.

In Aquazone, my guppies were starting to die despite regular feeding and clean water. I can only guess it had something to do with their genes. Naturally, I started fresh.

In Creatures 3, I was a little discouraged that I couldn’t read my norns genomes so I’m limiting my norns to CFE Creature Labs breeds. Having half CFE creatures was starting to prove detrimental to the creatures with those genes.

In Creatures 1, I wasn’t happy with the way I’d set up the world or the way I’d neglected to separate the generations.

In Creatures 2… well. I didn’t publish anything from Creatures 2.

Never fear, though! All the creatures I featured are available for download. The guppies, however, aren’t.

In other news, I’ve finally made the CFE Gizmo norns available for download. You can find them at CCaves.com OR here at the C3/DS Downloads page.

Sadly, these two fish still have not mated so I haven’t gotten much progress in my work with this strain of guppies. I’ll have more eventually.

Onto the wolflings!

I’ve been running a private Bengal wolfling run in the background for the last few days, usually while I was doing or working on other things.

Some of them might have Gizmo genes from the CFE/Gizmo genome I’m working on and others might have farbe genes but they’re all bengals who are generation 20 plus. They’ve also all passed the IQ test!

Here are 6 Generation 20+ Wolfling Bengals for your downloading pleasure.
