It didn’t take long for Persephone to choose a best friend and it seemed like Errol was it. Unfortunately, Errol only seemed to be able to produce one egg at a time. With Persephone headed for the surface, it was time to spend some time with the boys. Pilot waited on the surface, munching apples and greeting Persephone when she had to lay. Errol followed her up so it seemed like everyone was excited about her new egg.

bandicam 2013-06-12 23-53-46-074One blue egg popped into existence and soon it was life as usual. I eventually had to block off the third layer from the bottom because poor Errol kept dropping and hurting himself. I know the Swimmer Agent is an option but I’d rather have them all be able to use the elevators.

Soon, the seasons changed and the food moved to the bottom level. I failed to mention this earlier, but I have a small migrational requirement in place as well. Eggs laid during Autumn/Winter are at a slight disadvantage because Persephone would most likely be at the bottom level. Speaking of, Persephone was the mother of two more eggs. It was hard to tell who the fater was, though my money was on Pilot. Sadly, she laid them both underwater and both were destroyed.

They were all adults soon and seemed to take a break from breeding with the change of season. I don’t have the seasonal gender fix (at least I don’t think so) so it’ll be interesting to see how this affects the world. What will happen next? Stay tuned to find out.

bandicam 2013-06-12 23-02-48-192When I checked in today, I caught the boys napping and then eating seeds and fruit. Persephone was feeling a little lonely so I spent some time with her before she laid down for a nap.

With nothing particularly exciting going on, I took the time to spread some growing food around. Before long, though, Pilot was 46 minutes old and about to become an Adult. Errol was old enough not to need his hand held at 24 minutes old and Persephone was still feeling lonely in Aquanornia.

Since Pilot was finally old enough to breed, I thought it would be a good time to introduce him to his new home. Though he didn’t have his fins yet, he was still old enough to breed.

bandicam 2013-06-12 23-24-42-215Before long, Persephone was pregnant with three eggs! Sadly, one of the eggs had to get destroyed (kill hots) because she re-entered the water after her first. Thankfully, she made it back to land to lay her third egg.

bandicam 2013-06-12 23-28-40-042Soon, Pilot was also an adult and it was time to focus my attention on Errol. I couldn’t focus long, though. Thankfully, Errol spent most of his time eating and sleeping and didn’t actually need much. Persephone decided to have two more eggs, though. This time, she was able to keep both of them. Pilot seemed determined to secure his bloodline while he had no competition.

bandicam 2013-06-12 23-42-00-300At 40 minutes old, Errol was ready to join the others in Aquanornia. The boys seemed to catch up when Errol took his first leap into the water (seriously, both of the boys jumped off of the platform then off of the beach into the water). They had more time together and ended up becoming good friends, after all.

Before Errol became an adult, though, he laid claim to his first egg. Though Persephone was only pregnant with one, she had the trip to the surface figured out and didn’t need any help.

Now, the egg count was in Pilot’s favor. Would Errol catch up once he became an adult? Would he have the baby with the most ideal genes? Only one way to find out! Stay tuned.

It turns out I’m an incredible idiot and left the game running for another 10 minutes before I closed it. I tried to close without saving but apparently autosave beat me to it.

bandicam 2013-06-10 13-52-30-098Anyway, at this point, Pilot is 24 minutes old and he and Persephone both have interestingly colored legs.

Pilot’s taken to following Persephone around and they both have a habit of expressing themselves.

Enough putting it off, though. Time to introduce our next male.

bandicam 2013-06-10 14-22-05-328Meet Errol.

This little guy quickly learned his words and his lessons would start soon.

He learned to rest on his own and eating came naturally though I had to encourage him to make sure his behaviors set in. He seemed to spend more time playing with the robot toy but he seemed happy all the same.

It was time to move Persephone, though. She started feeling friendly so we headed to Aquanornia. As Persephone explored her new home, the boys took turns teaching each other lessons. It was nice to relax for once and not have to worry about the new baby with Pilot helping to care for him.

I gave Persephone the Super Food Vendor and she quickly learned to push it to get food. I was pretty happy with this. It wasn’t long before she blossomed into a beautiful adult, though.

bandicam 2013-06-10 16-13-23-219With Persephone finally making it to adulthood, it was a waiting game. Pilot would be the first male to reach adult hood so he would likely have the most eggs to his name.

When will the first eggs come? Stay tuned!

Persephone was nearly ready to be left on her own to grow up and learn. I decided that once she was 20 minutes old, it would be time to let her explore the Meso on her own and maybe teach the two boy norns with me.

bandicam 2013-06-09 22-45-20-124She was feeling lonely and I couldn’t seem to pet her enough to make her feel less bad so I took her to the workshop to meet the puppet. She pushed it around a bit and soon it was time to go back.

She still seemed to do all of the things she was supposed to – resting when she’s tired or sleepy, eating her food instead of hitting it, pushing it or running from it. It was nice to have one on one time for once.

bandicam 2013-06-09 22-53-47-223Our bonding time would be interrupted, though. Pilot, our first boy, was imported into the game.

His first lesson was to rest when he was tired and he picked up on it quickly. As they both rested, Persephone became an adolescent and actually seemed content not to spend all of her time with the toddler.

Soon, they both felt lonely and I advised them to meet. Pilot still hadn’t learned not to play with his food but they needed some time to meet. Once they had an eyefull, they walked off on their own and I taught Pilot some table manners. He at least knows to eat now though I’m not sure he’s made a connection between his drives and his food yet. Neither of them seemed particularly hungry so there wasn’t much I could do. Hoverdoc even came to tell me the same thing.

Oh well. Tomorrow we’ll hopefully be introducing our next male and we’ll be able to put Persephone in the water.
