These fathers need more eggs. Sweet segway, right? Anyway, if you haven’t yet, go hug or call your dads today. I’ll be visiting my father in law (yippee…) today so this post was actually written a few days ago. Enjoy!

Errol and Persephone were determined to make more babies. Errol seemed very excited to be a father. It still seemed like everyone was in hibernation at the bottom of Aquanornia. As all the food was growing there now, I understood.

I was hoping Persephone could lay more eggs but I knew it had just as much to do with her Reproductive health as it did with the boys. She wanted to have more eggs, though, that much was clear.

Growing impatient and hungry for new life, I started to add fish to Aquanornia.

I went ahead and added some anemone because I love the color they add. Two species of fish were all I needed and soon I was very happy with the metaroom. Meanwhile, the norns were still content to relax in the bottom right corner of the room. Soon, though, Pilot claimed the first egg of the day.

She made it to the surface safely and laid her one egg. She didn’t seem to want to leave the surface for a while. There was plenty of food and the boys weren’t bothering her all the time. She eventually got bored so I brought her a beach ball and she seemed content. The two boys push each other and made small talk in the lowest level and there was one small slap. Were the boys aware of the contest? I’m sure they weren’t, but they seemed like they were too close to let it come between them. Will Persephone pull herself back into the water? Stay tuned!

Seems like a fitting title as today’s my marriage anniversary with my husband. Don’t worry, I’m busy today. I wrote this post a few days ago. :3

In last time’s post, Persephone wasn’t trying to have eggs, this time, she actually was! Trying, that is. She didn’t seem to have any eggs for a little while. Persistence paid off and soon, she was pregnant with 6 eggs! Errol was our proud father this time. I felt a bit bad for her because of all of the stress and pain she would endure but at the same time, I was excited about all of the babies I would have to choose from. Of all of them, only the last was laid underwater.

Before long, everyone was at the bottom right again, eating and kiss popping. Poor Persephone needed a break but I wasn’t about to interfere. I was still impressed and even a little dumbfounded that Persephone preferred Errol over Pilot, after all, Pilot was the first male she was really introduced to. Already, Errol had more eggs to his name than Pilot but I still hoped more eggs would come my way.

As I waited for them to have more eggs or express their needs, I learned why it was so relaxing to leave the game running. The music was so relaxing and so soothing. My cares seemed to drift away as I watched them interact in a corner.

Errol had fallen in love with Persephone. Actually, they all seemed to forget about me once they’d all met each other. As Errol and Persephone declared their love for each other Pilot backed away. He seemed to feel like a third wheel, which I understood. Still he had a solid foothold in the egg department so maybe he could afford to take a break from wooing Persephone. We still had some time ahead of us so who knows? Maybe time will favor our first male norn.

When I checked in today, I caught the boys napping and then eating seeds and fruit. Persephone was feeling a little lonely so I spent some time with her before she laid down for a nap.

With nothing particularly exciting going on, I took the time to spread some growing food around. Before long, though, Pilot was 46 minutes old and about to become an Adult. Errol was old enough not to need his hand held at 24 minutes old and Persephone was still feeling lonely in Aquanornia.

Since Pilot was finally old enough to breed, I thought it would be a good time to introduce him to his new home. Though he didn’t have his fins yet, he was still old enough to breed.

Before long, Persephone was pregnant with three eggs! Sadly, one of the eggs had to get destroyed (kill hots) because she re-entered the water after her first. Thankfully, she made it back to land to lay her third egg.

Soon, Pilot was also an adult and it was time to focus my attention on Errol. I couldn’t focus long, though. Thankfully, Errol spent most of his time eating and sleeping and didn’t actually need much. Persephone decided to have two more eggs, though. This time, she was able to keep both of them. Pilot seemed determined to secure his bloodline while he had no competition.

At 40 minutes old, Errol was ready to join the others in Aquanornia. The boys seemed to catch up when Errol took his first leap into the water (seriously, both of the boys jumped off of the platform then off of the beach into the water). They had more time together and ended up becoming good friends, after all.

Before Errol became an adult, though, he laid claim to his first egg. Though Persephone was only pregnant with one, she had the trip to the surface figured out and didn’t need any help.

Now, the egg count was in Pilot’s favor. Would Errol catch up once he became an adult? Would he have the baby with the most ideal genes? Only one way to find out! Stay tuned.
