The three spent a lot of time in the kitchen looking around at things. Aidan had a bit of an exploratory phase when he was very small but that seems to have passed. Now, it seems everyone is happy to be a homebody, not that Gerald ever seemed to have the choice anyway.
While this was good news for hopeful breeders, there were some cons to everyone being so close together all the time. For starters, it wouldn’t be difficult for them to get each other sick should a bacteria work its way into the population. Second, it would be difficult for me to communicate with them.
I tried not to worry about it too long and Lydia’s awful sprites made it pretty easy for me to forget about future problems. She finally grew up tall enough to touch the clock in the kitchen but she didn’t look much better for it. I did my best to ignore it. She was healthy after all. I even coaxed her into eating a carrot. Gerald worked himself even further into a corner as Aidan explored the temple. After playing in the lifts for a while, he made his way to the edge of the underground pier and took a nap.
Meanwhile, Lydia continued frowning and seemed to be trying to coax a baby out of Gerald. The poor guy! He might have been starving and his health force might have dipped to 28 by now, but he might still get a chance to be a father. Fingers crossed, everyone!
