Hey guys! I’m sure I’ve mentioned Discover Albia on my blog before, but I wanted to bring special attention to something that Jessica is doing now. I mean, Discover Albia is what got me blogging in the first place! Jessica has a survey open til the 10th of April and she’s using it to plan special community events and features for her blog for the future. If you have a few minutes and haven’t filled it out already, go fill it out!
Would you look at that happy face? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a norn look so happy during pregnancy! And look! She’s still holding her ball. Maybe she’s hoping to give it to her baby once it hatches?
Too bad that was so far off because of my hatching policy. At least she was willing to eat for me, probably because her boredom was so well managed. The little smarty pants always had a toy with her, so there was no reason to be bored! She later laid her egg with no problems and that brought our total to 7 eggs. Quite the number!
Cassy, as usual, complained about hunger but was so preoccupied with Danny and hooch that she practically refused food! Fed up, I moved the hooch to the small pond below the waterfall. I still didn’t have any success feeding her. I guess Danny was just that great a distraction.
I returned to the island to find Grub making friends with David (who blinked, of course)
. The pair was talking about the lift button and sharing complaints. David talked about how tired he was and Grub kept repeating “Grub food”. I guess he was hungry!
Poor Mallory was hungry too and her health reflected that! Perry was in the same area as her and kept eating the carrots, though! What a greedy norn! His health was at a cool 77% and Mallory’s was at 55%. Before I could get a carrot in Mallory, Peony became pregnant. Of course, with Perry moved out of the way, Mallory still didn’t eat.
I tried to get her to sleep instead since rest seemed to be her biggest need. Even so, she didn’t sleep and her life force continued to decline. I injected her with “Sleeping Pill” and decided to feed her once she woke up. Once she woke up, I offered her a parsnip and she ate without being asked! Soon, she had that bright, smiling face on again. This got me thinking and I decided to try helping out Cassy again.
I had little success and as I was trying to feed her, David got sick. Grub and Peony were nearby and I couldn’t get them away from him because they decided to play with the lift. It took a few rides on the lift before I managed to get him away on the paddle boat. Antigen 0 turned out to be the culprit this time and, thankfully, he didn’t get anyone else sick. Once he was ashore, I had a real challenge on my hands trying to feed him. I offered him some cheese but a sneeze had him spinning out of control. He finally got to eat it when his health was at about 40%. Then, he ate a carrot. It crept up to 56% when I finally talked him into sleeping.
Ultimately, it was his body that would win the battle. If we were lucky. All I could do was bring him food. His health took a sharp turn downards as his antibodies increased in number. The bacteria fought hard, but I had faith in him. I mean, look at that goofy, optimistic face. Of course, as I took his picture, he aged right before my eyes
The battle wasn’t over yet, though! We still had an antigen to fight and it was fighting hard. When his health dipped to 38%, I started to lose hope. Of course, the girls couldn’t let me take a break during a time like this. Tabby became pregnant while I helped David fight his sickness. David at least kept eating. I wondered why his fight was so difficult but then, a deeper look into the science kit revealed two unknown toxins in his body! It seemed like the bacteria were starting to evolve. Unfortunately, I had no idea how to deal with unknown toxins in this game. I hopefully injected David with Anti-oxidant but it seems like his body was already winning. His antibody 0 count was finally higher than antigen 0 and he was finally recovering.
His status was finally reading “Healthy” and I could move on to other things, like Peony’s failing health. Thankfully, she didn’t have an illness and quickly ate the carrots I offered her. I also collected Tabby’s egg, which was laid during my trouble with David. I hardly noticed the 20 minutes pass because the experience was so nerve wracking, but it was finally over. I couldn’t even take many pictures!
