Thank you!

I’m up to my eyeballs in old blog posts that I hadn’t gotten around to reading yet, mostly because I didn’t know so many blogs existed until recently. So far, I’ve read all of The Realm, Mobula Ray, most of Discover Albia, and I’m caught up to early 2012 in The Arch. I’ve also read all of Naturing::Nurturing and most of the now-inactive, smaller blogs available on Amaikokonut’s Blog List. I’ve been reading so much that I’m worried I’ll run out of material soon, and I’m hungry for more! Thank goodness Chip’s new blog The Trials of Chip the Third has arrived. It’s good stuff, too! Go check it out.

That said, all the reading I’ve been doing has distracted me from working on my own blog and I’m back to rectify that. If you have a blog that you’d like to recommend or if you’ve got a blog yourself, let me know in the comments so that I can read still more! If you want to start, but don’t have a clue what to post first, keep reading on.

I have a challenge for all bloggers but don’t worry! It’s a very simple challenge and shouldn’t take especially long. All bloggers, old, new and those of you who just want to get started are welcome to participate.

In an exchange with Jessica, I thought we could talk about our experiences as bloggers. That is a good start, but why not make it more inclusive and encourage more members to start their own blogs? Instead, I’ve made a list of prompts for you to choose from. Below each prompt, I’ve included a list of things to consider as you write. You don’t need to answer all the questions! They’re just there as a guide. Once you’ve finished responding to a prompt, leave a link to your new post in the comments so that others can read what you wrote!
