Oh, Creatures 2. I’m oft reminded why I don’t visit this game too often.
After pushing themselves up against the door for a while, Clarise managed to fall through the floor again and I had to rescue her with Pick Me Up.
Jonathan continued to dance against the door and I eventually had to push him away myself. When Jonathan, Clarise and Jenny all returned to the door, I decided to go back to Donny to check on him. With any luck, he wouldn’t be wall bonking quite so badly as the others.
When I found him, he was having a snooze by the carrots near the water wheel and seemed very happy when he finally woke up. Clarise meanwhile managed to get pregnant again. I quickly scooped up her egg and placed it near the incubator, where WolfCtrl ensured it would stay paused.
Soon, Jonathan was starving, and I had to teach him to eat roots, like carrots. We argued for a while about what to do with the root. He kept insisting on running from it and pushing the carrot, but an unfortunate string of slaps soon had him putting the carrot in his mouth and chewing.
When Clarise fell through the floor a third time, I decided to just put her by the water wheel with Jonathan and Jenny. She was starving now, too and needed to learn a lesson about edible roots. Unfortunately, the message never seemed to get across. And, honestly, the whole experience was so frustrating, I had to keep myself from just slapping her to death. She seemed to want to starve anyway.
